Hinge Components
Hidden hinge manufacturing uses deep drawn steel cups (35mm diameter, DC04 steel), zinc die cast arms (ZAMAK 3) and adjustment cams. Overlay adjustment ±2mm. Opening angle 95-110° standard.
Cup depth 11-13mm. Material 0.8-1.2mm DC04 for structural integrity.

Deep Drawing Process
Progressive dies with 4-7 stations. Draw ratio 2.0-2.5 per stage. Emulsion lubrication with pH monitoring. Annealing between stages for deep draws. Trim station for clean edge. Die maintenance every 50k strokes.
Burr control critical at trim station. Material thickness monitoring for consistent cup strength.

Assembly and Testing
Rivet insertion, spring installation, cam assembly. Cycle test: 50,000+ per EN 15570. Sag test under 35kg load. Closing force measurement. Side play <0.5mm. Salt spray 48h+.
Automated assembly at 20-40 hinges per minute. Continuous improvement through SPC monitoring.
